Mr. Kerry Hicks received a BS in Business and a
Masters in Information Systems from Colorado State University. Mr. Hicks
has served as CEO of HealthGrades.com, Inc. since January 4, 2000. He
was previously President and CEO of its predecessor company, Specialty
Care Network, Inc., since its inception in 1995. From 1985 to 1995, he
served as Senior Vice President of LBA Healthcare Management. Mr. Hicks
was recognized as the 2000 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year in the
e-business category for the Rocky Mountain Region.
Mr. Jim Franzen is founder, President, and Chairman of the Board of
Managed Business Solutions. He started out with two employees in 1993,
and is currently at 140 employees and growing. Managed Business
Solutions has been recognized twice by Inc. magazine as one of the 500
fastest growing, privately-held companies in the United States. The
company is projected to gross around $15 million this year. Before
Managed Business Solutions, Mr. Franzen was a freelance musician,
Director of Music at Jesuit College Prep in Dallas, Texas, and an
Instructor of Music at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff,
Arizona. He was also a Software Engineer, IT Manager, and Project
Manager at Hewlett-Packard in Fort Collins, Colorado. At this point Mr.
Franzen is semi-retired from business since he has named a new President
to succeed him. He is interested in returning to school, performing
music, and working with community projects. |
